Nice day on Lake Okeechobee today fishing with long time clients  that have been with me for many years. Gloria and her son and their Uncle Harry, Harry has been with me for many, many years and had a lot of great adventures together.

Today we’re doing a light tackle on Lake Okeechobee with lite spinning rods. Pretty decent numbers, had some shots at big fish we used a variety of different baits. Throwing a little bit of Bass Assassin and some of my homemade baits. Just have a good time catching some fish, it was just a great day. A bit overcast,  it made it very comfortable. We only got to fish a few hours, we got to fish a (1/2) half day trip and then the storms started rolling in.

But still a great day on the lake, and great to see theses folks.

Captain Mark Shepard tight lines!

This is the day I wake up to fish with the Future Lake Okeechobee Bass Whisperer Steven and is son Taylor long time clients. This young man just turned 15 years old and has fished with me since he was a little guy. Very impressive anger from Pompano Beach, Florida.

Taylor is going to be somebody to keep an eye on in the future for the tournament trail, I’ve spent a lot of time with this young man. Today we where fishing Bass Assassin verity of baits, flipping the craw, throwing the Doe Dapper and 5″ Swimmer have had a lot of fish trying to eat them, were catching good quality.

We’re gonna go back out again tomorrow.

I’ll see if we can do again.

Captain Mark Shepard, tight lines
