We had two delightful days fishing with Captain Mark Shepard on Lake Okeechobee. Captain Mark was on time early in the... mornings and got us on the water and fishing in the right spots quickly. It was very obvious that Captain Mark knew the lake and the good fishing spots. There had been a big bass fishing tournament the weekend before we went but he was still able to put us on a lot of fish. This was an early Christmas present for my step-son, Thomas, and we both had a blast. Unfortunately for Thomas, I took his money for the biggest fish, ha, ha.I would recommend Captain Mark to anyone who wants to be successful bass fishing the lake.read more

Thanks Capt. Mark Shepard
I just wanted to write a quick note about our trip we did with Capt Mark Shepard (& Mama Bird). My brother in law and I took out on a half day fishing trip traveling from Ft Lauderdale to Clewiston and within minutes of lines in the water, we pulled up our 1st bass. Steadily through the 1st hour we caught a few more until about Abe Cardenas (Brother in law) reels up a nice 8.25lb. Weather started to get a little ugly so we moved locations…again, steadily reeling up a few 2-3lb fish until….the last fish of the day, a whooping 12 lb monster emerged! The excitement on the boat was beyond explanation! Just wanted to say thanks to Capt. Mark for such an memorable trip. We’ll be back soon!
